Re: Toshiba Origami Ad =)
you forgot two things-
1. they cut the paper. therefore it can not be considered origami
2. you're not meant to advertise on these forums.

haha you have to be kidding me. It is origami, the art of folding paper. I agree that it is not PURE origami with a square and no cutting if that is what you are referring to.
And I did not advertise. No I didnt want anyone in here buying any TV or laptop from Toshiba, god no. It's some youtube videos of some sort of origami, for your viewing pleasure! Enjoy! Art is art, no matter what form. I spot one when I see one. Dont think too much..

Hm, I'm sorry, has to be my browser. Strangely enough the videos do not show up for me, not even a space indicating that something is missing. But I checked back now and you indeed posted them. Sorry for accusing you wrongly. I have to look into this problem and check why they aren't showing up for me.
Edit: Found the problem, it seems my ad-block confused them with advertisements...

Haha I thought so. And no you didnt accuse me of anything. I was probably the one poster in this forum to post youtube vids and hence the problem.origami_8 wrote:Hm, I'm sorry, has to be my browser. Re: Toshiba Origami Ad =)
obviously, the line is blurred somewhat, but i do think the videos do fall more into the category of papercraft (the forms are mostly from cutting). YMMV.

This is origami guys... I really think you guy are caught up in the pure origami..bethnor wrote:obviously, the line is blurred somewhat, but i do think the videos do fall more into the category of papercraft (the forms are mostly from cutting). YMMV.
Anyway, here is the vid of the MAKING of the vid. See for yourself =)
Also, at 3:50 that can be PURE origami you're looking for. There are known origami artists in the making vid too.
