congratulations ryan. you deserve it. though, in all honesty, i would have loved to have seen your platypus in there.

glad to see stuff from kyohei and gajardo in there. more birds is a good thing. surprised to see the mantis shrimp in there--can't imagine too many folks will have the resources to fold that.

Gajardo? i can't see his model in there... unless i'm mistaken. i think gilgado is though :)

@ Bethnor

Thanks for the compliment, yet I am completely dissatisfied with my platypus. The base is rediculously simple yet it uses some crafting to form the toes/flippers...

The result is still flat and stupid... It needs a lot of extra work. Maybe next year!

The hummingbird is quite recent and has quite a nice base (if I may say so myself), especially the way the chest is formed...

frumious--how dare you hope for a model that's not like one that's already published and free on the web.

ryan, i disagree with you about your platypus. be that as it may. perhaps next year. and don't be ashamed to publish models in places other than the tanteidan.
