There is already a topic aptly called "Help making a book" viewtopic.php?f=12&t=8699 that you can check for advice.

On like...publishing, where to sell, what type of models, etc.

Erm, is it going to be you own designs only? If so... put whatever model you're able to design in your book?

I really like books that have a bit of blurb to go with each model. It might cover suggestions on what paper/techniques to use, a bit about how it was designed, or even just a bit about the subject (for example if it's based on an animal). Quite a few books seem to do that now, and the more the better, in my opinion.

Question: do you have some photos of your models? (not necessarily the ones that are going to be in your book)
I would like the see them :)

Menschenfeind: I am going to create a Flickr. I will also try to post some on here.

Camicazi: Nicolas already told me he would.

Sunburst: That is my intention.

Everyone:
This book will hopefully be avaliable in 2012. There will be a section on crease patterns. It will include CPs of many of my models. I only know of 3 designs in the books so far. Moon, Leafs, and Koi. Leafs has about 10 steps. Moon has about 40 steps. Koi has around 70 steps. Moon is being published in CDO convention book 2011. Koi CP (full diagrams will be included in my book) was published in the 6th (which ever one is being published this year) CUSCO book. There MIGHT be diagrams for some model on the complexity of Ancient Dragon or Ryujin. Or at least a CP.

Some pictures of the designs would really be needed to judge interest.

It really depends on the models. If the models are good enough, im shure that many are interested, at least I am. Especially if the models are kinda rear(is it spelled rear :?: ).But I cant be interested of the book if I dont know whats in it. So pics would really help
