thanks legionzilla!
yeh, for some reason if you tell me to design something i can fold it within a few hours! dunno why, it just happens. look, test me. tell me any living thing to design and i will do it by the end of the day!
i sadly can't refold this tanuki due to the fact that i didnt diagram it and there was soooo much precreasing that i couldnt remember.
but im happy with this result! :D

I challenge you to fold a perfectly folded, with no splayed layers or crumpling, swallow. It must have elegance and grace, a good sense of movement and look extremely realistic.

You must pay attention to every single crease and make it really beautiful.
I wouldn't recommend tissue foil, as you would instantly fail the challenge.

If you can do this in a day, I may have some respect for you.

Joshua, I think that Pacman is fantastic. Please do not change a thing about it, except yeah, fold it better. But do not change the shape. It is perfect as is. It has so much action and that angry eye gives it much character. He looks like Pacman on a rampage. It makes it obvious why those ghosts are so scared.

That tanuki has plenty of wrinkles. Those are exactly the wrinkles that are all but inevitable when using tissue-foil. And I really can't tell what it is. Sorry.

Here's an example of folding wrinkle-free with tissue-foil: http://www.flickr.com/photos/oriholic/3907486439/

some wrinkling on the body, crimp folds on wings not neat enough, a frayed edge on the paper (I think) tail points not crisp enough, head a little lacking in detail- I think you could make some small modifications for eyes or at least a neater beak, some small amounts of layer splaying.

Also I think it would be much nicer if it was a bit more 'flowing'

I have to admit, I like the previous tail much better. it's more "swallow" like.
