he's probably making it the same way he makes his tissue foil
like putting squigles of glue then putting them together.
josh you really need to try some real stuff. tissue foil is for noobs! mc FTW!!!

Tissue foil WAS popular a year ago! a lot origamists used it.. many of them (including me) started folding with any but foiled paper. I saw they improved theyir skills alot.. I am happy with my progress too.
I used tissue-foil only five times in a last year (since 2010 January).. And around hundred were folded with kami/ double tissue +mc / single tissue + mc / unryu / kraft / baking paper / or simple colored copy paper...

when i play halo (pc) my friend would say, "banshees are for noobs"
when i play bf2 (ps3) noobs die XD
when i do origami the kids like to use tissue foil for everything.

yeah i used to love tissue foil until about 3 monthes ago when i started to make more double tissue and using more craft and large printer paper for final models instead of tissue foil because of the nasty crumpled look that is hard to get rid of.
