Card-game related models besides pokemon?

Post by TheUnChosenOne »

Well, Pokemon's pretty popular. How about other card games like Yugioh or Magic or whatever. Or maybe even anime or something?

I think Pokemon is more popular as a video game than as a card game.
Things like Yugioh and Digimon might provide similarly rich sources of creatures to fold, but Magic The Gathering is so vast and varied that it doesn't really present a consistent grouping of characters or creatures to focus on.

The new Nicolas Terry book (50+ Hours of Origami by the VOG group) has a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game.

Interesting! Thank you, I will look for Nicolas Terry's book at a local library! (because us asians are too cheap to buy it. :P No offense to asians who aren't too cheap to buy it.)
