ODT #4 malifold vs roodborst
sorry I'm late!
one square no cuts
1- the number four
2- write a word in origami, using color change or flaps on a line, or another idea
3- man-made object
Good luck!

Re: ODT #4 malifold vs roodborst
Those are some difficult subject for me, way out of my comfort zone.
- For nr3, anything I find that is manmade goes? It's the only subject I could find some ideas for. Btw let's allow for multiple entries.
- What about the nr4? Maybe make if it is a wider subject I can find something, maybe making it any number between 1 and 9?
Please let me know, I'll keep brainstorming in the meanwhile.

Guess I'll go with "man-made" then. Good luck Malifold.

When searching for handmade I found this jewelry website with some cute rings with animals. So here are my entries:

Re: ODT #4 malifold vs roodborst
Finally got Internet back!
I chose to make Chichen Itza's El Castillo, one of the "new" seven wonders ofthe world.
Top view:
Front view:
Side view:
The famous snake effect:
Finally, a test-fold to show the structure and a possible addition of more steps:
Design details:
Boxpleated, 96x96 grid
50x50 cm square of kraft paper
The 4 stairways run at a 45 degree angle and the sides run at a 60 degree angle
Like a tessellation, one could easily add or remove steps
