Petition for a reprint of Issei's Super Complex Origami
I was just wondering who's been wanting to get Issei's Super Complex Origami?
Given that Origami Fantasy was reprinted, perhaps there is a chance for this book too? (Particularly if quite a lot of people want it).
Contents of the book can be found on Gilad's site

Issei Yoshino book
I am a luck guy, I have got a new copy in Brazil here: http://www.fonomag.com.br
I emailed http://www.fonomag.com.br last night, they are out of stock now
And they don't post outside Brazil either......
So please, vote for a reprint, or we will have no chance, or have to pay someone a lot for a 2nd hand one......

i don't know if it's the result of this petition, but it seems like yoshino's book will be rereleased as an ibook. hopefully gallery origami house will follow suit with their other out of print books.
I've got the book. I wonder what its market value is these days?
Not that I want to give it up. The horse is really fun to make and looks great no matter what paper you use. He does look sort of wooden, Trojan-ish.
And the triceratops is pretty great. I saw that skeleton model at the 1994 FOCA (now OUSA) convention and was very happy that it got published.
Here's hoping for a reprint! More people should enjoy it.

According to the page linked, the tyrannosaurus skeleton isn't in the ibook, is it published somewhere else?

Hah, oops. I meant triceratops. The ibook link has pictures of the contents but doesn't seem to include the triceratops skeleton. I actually saw the t-rex skeleton book yesterday at the bookstore.kareshi wrote:The Triceratops skeleton is in Super Complex Origami.
The T-rex skeleton is published in a seperate Origami House publication, and also in Canada through Origami Maple.
Is the triceratops skeleton published anywhere else?

is it so hard to do some sleuthing? seems like none of the new folks posting want to even try.
the link clearly shows the book as "part 1." it stands to reason that sooner or later more parts will be released. while it seems entirely possible that they could release everything in the book except the triceratops skeleton, that seems unlikely.
it might be fair to worry that if part 1 does not sell well, they will not release any more of the book.

I actually did search the origami database and the forum and google about it. Should I post that disclaimer whenever I ask a question from now on? I understand the need for rules to help keep the forum organized but you're a little hair trigger sometimes benthor.

Just one-hair trigger, but don't worry, because he's not shutting with real bullet, just paper ones
@leung_wwy: "No e-reader": I think that the Kindle released an application that runs on PCs and Macs, allowing desktops to function as Kindle e-readers.
I don't have a reference, and I don't have any info or other e-reader simulators.... But, Google knows all !
Someone also suggested Stumbleupon and DuckDuckGo instead of Google ??
