I've seen a previous post with information on a couple of internet based sources for MC but unfortunately both of these use international air freighting for overseas delivery which comes with a hefty price tag ($10-20 for a 1lb container of MC itself and then a further ~$100 shipping) which is, frankly, ridiculous.
Has anyone had any luck sourcing this in the UK at a reasonable cost?

Thanks everyone, I've yet to try wallpaper paste as I'm always dubious of a product that doesn't list it's ingredients. Every wallpaper paste I've found so far (admittedly I've only tried B&Q) doesn't seem to list this information on any of the products it stocks.
I've tried a few art stores to see if any of them stock it but again, no joy.
On the plus side I did find the following site which stocks a variant caled Carboxymethylcellulose which might be of interest to some, they also have a range of mulberry papers and lots of papermaking equipment in case anyone wants to take a stab at rivalling Michael LaFosse.

If you're willing to search through the pages of the thread on MC, I think someone in there mentions the difference at some point.

I recently stumbled across this whilst looking at the differences in various wallpaper pastes at B&Q.
