What tools do you use and for what? Where they home made? Bought?
What do use them for? Do you have an recommendations, discoveries, tips?

Over the past year I have accumulated several ad-hoc tools, mostly found around the house, which I then modified to fit the purposes I needed at the time.

Image

1- Box to keep tools in
2- Cards of various stiffness made out of SiM card holders and Screen protector applicators.
Used to press creases down, making them nice and sharp
3- Long Tie-Wraps to hold models together while the Glue / Methyl-cellulose dries
4- Paper clips, to hold resistant parts of the models, to press down many folds (Cards are placed on either side of the model, then the paper clip is place over them)
5- Paper clips, I ended up sharpening the end to really get to the point (sic.) of petal folds and the like. Also used to lift small layers with ease.
Unseen: Assorted Rulers and Right Angle Triangles
