My Teachers father died last week and he wont come back untill next wensday, He is absessed with Final Fantasy 7 so i thought that the bahamut would be a good welcome back present. But the problem is, I live in the US and i can't find it anywhere. I know that it is in japan and UK but my parents dont want me to go there or EBay or look for it at Amazon. If somebody can help me with the CP and/or diagrams or even a step by step tutorial, it would be great thanks. P.S. i dont know if this is the right section or not.
P.S.S Any Bahamut is fine but the Bahamut Zero is the one im mostly looking for or the ancient dragon.

If you're talking about buying Satoshi's book for the bahamut model but not through international shipping, then your best bet is to go on this site.

If you are not able to get a copy of his book or do not have enough time to learn how to fold the really complex Bahamut, you could try making him a chocobo.

Origami Usa is good but the thing is to register you need to pay and my parents are too over protective. Also I was thinking of like a bahamut too though, sorry for your troubles.

Bahamut may be too tough, and that's OK - it is too hard for me at this stage also.

However, slightly off of this topic, if you can use a credit card, then you may be able to telephone someone at Origami USA to handle the transaction like any other telephone purchase. (When I order from BOS in the UK, I email someone that I know, directly.)

I think that Amazon will also take telephone orders, and Barnes & Nobles will sometimes let you order through the local stores.

If the issue is using the credit card online or over the phone, that's a different issue.... and in today's climate, I can't fault your parents for being overprotective.

if money is the issue, another slightly cheaper option would be to get the tanteidan 5th convention book from sasuga books. the trade off is that the diagramming in this one is a little sketchier, and the instructions are in japanese.

Tanteidan 5 has been out of print since at least 2002.

All right, so you want to fold a Bahamut...?

Well, you have a few options:

The best option is of course to buy Works of Satoshi Kamiya. You can buy it through Origami-USA (though you may have to be a member), Nicolas Terry's http://www.passionorigami.com, or directly through Origami House http://www.origamihouse.jp . It will be cheapest through Origami House, as that is buying it direct. Origami House can only accept International Postal Money Order (you get these at the post office, at least in USA) or cash (Go with IPMO if possible).

Can you fold crease patterns? There may be hope for you yet. On his website, http://www.folders.jp Satoshi Kamiya has many crease patterns. Among these are a Bahamut BL and Bahamut Zero. Search the forum for where to find them.

If it's the Ancient Dragon you're looking for, again, Works of Satoshi Kamiya is the best choice, as its diagrammed there. You can also find the Ancient Dragon crease pattern in Tanteidan Magazine 55 (part of Volume 10). Additionally, there is a crease pattern for an "Ancient Dragon type 2" on Kamiya's website.

For other Kamiya creatures used in Final Fantasy, you can find a Chocobo in Tanteidan 9 and Sleipnir in Tanteidan 11.

Of course, none of the books will come by Wednesday.
