Does anyone know how to turn a turn a square into a hexagon :?: :?:

Follow the diagrams up until step 10, and then cut along the perimiter of the interior hexagon.

Or if you're talking about grids instead of shapes, you can do it this way:

Technically it's triangles, I know, but the same method applies.
