Time between models

I was wondering how long do you guys (and girls) take breaks for, inbetween doing models. Because I feel like I should be doing them all the time.

I usually take 1-3 days between models, mostly because I am too lazy to make tissue-foil/double tissue, and also because I dare not stopp to the level of standard kami.

That varies greatly for me. Sometimes weeks pass, because I don't have time, or I just need a break. Then sometimes I have time and I fold one after the other. For complex folds, I usually enjoy a break of a few days. Given that I mostly fold on weekends, though, that's not too hard to maintain.

Given that I try to make a video every month, I probably let less than a month pass from one fold to the next. But then again, I don't really count my videos as real folds. It's about teaching, rather than completing a beautiful/challenging model.

I've got nothing else to do really at the moment, so I'm folding several things everyday, but it's of course different when I'm not on holidays.

I tend to fold numerous test/rough folds of a model, and then fold it from nice paper so I don't mess it up, and I wet shape most of them. But there are so many models that are on my 'waiting list' that the tedious shaping gets left and I start a new model. I've got a few models waiting to be finished, so I don't really fit into any catagories.

It really depends on what kind of model it is. I fold at least one model from a post it note every day on my lunch break (I work in an office at a desk all day so that's about the only entertainment I get). If it's a complicated model though taking more that a day to complete I'll probably take 3days to a week before starting another one.

I voted "three days," but this is not to say that I fold a model every three days. How many models I make in given amount of time really varies on if I am in the mood to fold. My vote is basically my average time between models. If I cannot find a model that I want to fold I will not fold any models until I find something that interests me.

I guess I'm picky.

I usually fold only one thing each sitting. So that's a minimum of 1 hour in between...

Of course it's different depending on the model. If it's a long project, or frustrating, then I'll take a longer break; several days, sometimes.

Time between my folds is highly variable.  At one point i went through one or two CPs each day, usually a new one from kami, and a second/third try from double tissue.  However, as of today, it has been about 8 or 9 days since I've folded anything serious, but thats because I'm out of tissue paper and havent bought any more yet.  I also fold reciepts at work, usually about three a day. Model difficulty has nothing to do with it, after finishing the Ryuzin, I jumped right back in with some more CPs.  Also, at one point I made three Hojyo models in a week.  Recently, I havent done anything that large, but seem to be taking larger breaks.  Maybe having so many unfolded CPs lying around is having a reverse effect on me...

It depends on how grueling the last project was Sometimes I spend a day designing a model (one test fold, then the final version) and sometimes it takes months to finish a design(failed test-folds, designs, redesigns, giving up, then picking the project back up again and realizing the final design). In the latter case, I will fold other things while I am designing the other model, and because of that overlap there is often no real down time between projects.
