Sold. The world has yet again sponged money away from saving up for a cintiq. XD It's worth it, though, can't wait to be member. Off to the Tanteidan website!

Tanteidan website says it will ship out the special issue March 31.

yes, up to a degree. the earliest years of the tanteidan (when they were distributed in newsprint) are out of print. after that, one can buy, but it's a bit pricey, ~$50USD/volume (with 1 volume containing all the issues from that year).

i honestly don't know if the special issues can be bought along with the back issues. for awhile that wasn't possible.

ok so i was wondering if i get the subscription i july can i still get the special issue if i become a member??

As i know you can actually buy the special edition booklet after May. They will sell it to you as long they have extra copy left over. Cost would be $55 inclu shipping.

I subscribed end of march and got the magazines and the special edition yesterday.
A bit more money than I really cared to spend, but I'll probably (attempt to) fold 5 of the models out of the special edition, and maybe 1 or two out of the magazines.

Still haven't received my magazines. :( Not saying anything bad against Tanteidan, I just hope they get here soon. Can't wait to fold the figures!

It came! So excited, I just need to find paper big enough for that Makora model. CP is pretty simple, just BIG.
