I made a flapping bird and a crane from an a4 paper.
Do you have any other ideas on things ( not animals) i can make from a stretched preliminary base?

Your post makes not much sense, maybe you need to clarify a bit more.
How did you use the A4 to make the crane?
I know some stretched bases, but I had never heard of a stretched preliminary base and although I thought about it, I don't grasp the idea of it. How does it look like?

Brimstone,
Jun Maekawa has designed a base in Genuine Origami root 2 from which is possible to fold a crane from an a4 paper.

I don't doubt that. I was saying that the way the question was asked doesn't allow for much comments or advice.

Yes, this is true, because you can simple fold a crane from a square made from an A4 paper. Then, this must be explained better.
