Hi, I've been looking for a not too complicated, 'sturdier' model. A bit like the crane, in that if you try to unfold it it can take some effort. Looks impressive, too.

Anyone have any ideas?

Well the traditional waterbomb is pretty hard to unfold, especially when it is inflated...

The stegosaurus and triceratops on fishgoth.com are pretty fun to fold, and when I tried to unfold them they ripped pretty badly.

i recommend you wet fold whatever you want from a heavy water color paper like Cansen Mi Tientes. When dry it will be very similar in feel to paper mache. Would be almost impossible to unfold a traditional crane
