Hi,
I wanted to ask how do people on this forum store their paper sheets. Right now, I use an empty box of an LED TV to keep my sheets. It works very well to keep the sheets straight. I get a lot of dust in my room, and the box provides cover from that. However, I have been having a few problems with this arrangement lately. It takes up quite some space, and as the sheets have stacked up, it has become almost impossible to pull out a single sheet without creating a mess.

I was thinking of moving on to carry tubes to store paper. They'll take up much less space and I can store different types of sheets in different tubes. The only issue I have is keeping them rolled in the tubes v/s keeping them straight in the box. Does rolling have any adverse effects on the paper in the long run (say an year or so)?

So I was looking for suggestions as to how do members store the papers.

My apologies. I had searched for 'store' and its derivatives with 'paper'. And the above thread didn't show up. I could've done a better job.

EDIT: I went through the thread, and it seems almost everyone there stores paper flat (in some very nice furniture, no less ). So I still have the question about keeping it rolled up.

You needn't apologize. The topic I mentioned is "working area", what in some parts includes storing paper but must not. After all "storing paper" is a topic that might be interesting for all users of this Forum.

Map drawers. They're steel, and heavy.

I have a drawer which can fit papers upto 60 cm in breadth. Very useful and does not take up much space.
The problem created by rolling up paper is that when you take it out and try to cut out a square , you will find an air bubble type thing which is really annoying when it comes to aligning edges. So a solution can be cutting the square before folding... but again its quite difficult to do so.

I just store the paper in a drawer

I use office organizers/desk trays (basically small plastic shelves), or I just stack paper here and there. I see office organizers at yard sales and thrift stores all the time. Very inexpensive.
