The Origami Forum

I did a quick search to see if this had already been asked and I didn't see it so I was wondering if there are any pointers to photographing origami. I fold most of my models with white copy paper and I was wondering what would work to capture most of the detail.

A dark background is what I find works best if you're using white paper. Even look on my gallery, that's what I do.

natural sunlight and a contrasting solid background is best. Just play! have fun taking photos you're the artist!

It really depends on the color of the paper you're folding with. You want something that is the opposite (or pretty close) to the color you fold with. That way it stands out.
