for those of you who are contemplating getting jun maekawa's genuine origami from japan... don't. a stateside release is pending 11/1/08:

i already bought mine for twice as much
. i'm even contemplating getting it just for the translation.
also, xander arena is releasing a book. it looks exciting... though i would encourage him (if he's about) to use some of the photos on his website for the cover, i don't think those computer diagrams do his models justice:
