ive been ONCE AGAIN looking and have found out that the ancient dragon is in the Works of Satoshi Kamiya 1995-2003 but is it in any other books?

The diagrams are only printed in the Works of Satoshi Kamiya, as far as I know. But for $50, I don't know where you could get one unless someone's e-baying it. Online it's around $60 plus tax and/or shipping, if you're willing to work a few more hours.

p.s.do you have any good diagrams for a samurai helmet (not the beginer kind tho)

The only 'non-beginner' one that come's to my mind is in Issei Yoshino's 'Super Complex Origami', also avaliable from the Origami House. I love the folding sequence and looks great when made out of foil backed with a pattern or texture. I don't know of online diagrams of a complex helmet though, sorry.

I know it's kind of a drag to have to fork out lots of money for books but nobody's collection grows quickly. Do your research and find out which book you think would be most worth your money. Check out this site:

Seishi Kasumi has a very elaborate one in Tanteidan 8.

And Jun Maekawa has a cool-looking one in his book Genuine Origami. The English language version should be out in the Fall. The Japanese version is already available.

You might be able to check these both out on Gilad's book review site.

There is a pretty good samurai Helmet Beetle in Robert Lang's Origami Insects II.
