Origami king, there aren't actually many people who use treemaker. Some try it out and dislike it (or it doesn't work for them, like in my case), some just use it from time to time. I can guarantee that the Zero is not made using treemaker. The only model that I have ever seen (other than Robert Langs') would be Tarantula by Alessandro Beber.

And could you please use punctuation? I find it hard to understand sectences that don't actually end.

Treemaker has very limited uses. It can be a slight inspiration for flap arrangements, but other than that it generally doesn't produce anything useful. It is fun to play around with, though. Zero is box-pleated, and you can see the CP here on my Flickr.

Thank you sooo much, because I thought it was just me who didn't like the results of treemaker, but I thought that was just because I wasn't useing it right. Also i'm not to good with box-pleating so it is going to take a bit longer for me to do my ichigo (from bleach) desine. I'm going to try to use box-pleating.

P.S. Zero looks amazing, man I hope ichigo turns out like that.

P.P.S. I ate crocodile the other day, it tasted kind of like rubber and dried my mouth. :(

P.P.P.S. I use punctuation. :P

Thank you-actually, I tried to design Ichigo once. I used a slightly asymmetric boxpleated design, trying to incorporate tons of detail-the hair, the robe, the sword, the strips of cloth wrapping around his arm and hanging off of his sword, the strap hanging on his shoulder...it didn't turn out too well. The details were overkill and the long strips of cloth ended up being way too thick to actually do anything with them. Just a tip if you go through with the design.

Thanks for the tip, I was thinking, :-k of how much detail I was going to add to it and I was thinking if I can do the same thing Satoshi Kamiya did with his wizard's legs so I could add more detail to the top part of the body tell me what you think. :D

The main problem with Ichigo (as with all other specific humanoid characters) will be to really make it look like Ichigo and not only like "some guy with a cape and a big sword".

On the topic of Anime Origami I did some figures myself, mainly from One Piece.
You can see them on my blog: http://scarygami.blogspot.com/

And as a prime example what can be done there are Horiguchi Naoto's models.

I'd like to know : which version of Ichigo are you guys talking about? His normal shinigami form or his bankai form?

I was talking about his normal shinigami form, although I don't know about Origami king-his bankai form would also work.

I was also thinking of doing the normal form just to avoid making the chains at the end of the sword in bankai.

You wouldn't actually have to make a linked chain-if you really want to put texture onto it there are much easier ways. I think bankai might be easier because of the lack of the giant sword and the really long strips of cloth hanging off of his arms (which I think are the most defining features of Ichigo).
