I want to try some complex models and am wondering if theres a good place to get large squares of paper. I have been searching but don't really know what to buy. I'm looking to make some 3D models.

If you know of a good website where I can find appropriate 70cm x 70cm paper it would be appreciated

as always: your hometown could help us finding resources... not every shop deliveres to estonia.

I live in albuquerque New Mexico, and I'd like to know if theres anywhere to get appropriate paper for a model such as Satoshi Kamiya's ancient dragon.

I get rolls of brown wrapping paper from the post office, they are 50cmx150cm, then i just cut squares from them the same way you would cut a square from an A4 sheet

he needs 70x70 though hmmm ill do that for when i get that far though

There are large rolls of paper used in schools and some offices for notice board backgrounds. Its about 3ft or so in width, and available online at Dick Blick's http://www.dickblick.com/categories/rollpapers/ Look under Art Paper in the middle of the page. The kind I've used is slightly shiny on one side and a little rough on the other, its king of springy, but you can fold complex models out of it (gives you a little workout as well ;p). Some are more like construction paper and don't fold too well, I'm not sure which is which on that site though.

Tissue paper has a standard dimension of 50x70cm and it is easy to find in gifts shops or in those shops that sell also birthday cards and party stuff.
I live in a very small town quite far from big cities, but I've found that paper.

For large paper in the US (not high quality, but for practice), you might try Michaels, MJ Designs, Hobby Lobby, Hallmark stores for wrapping paper, gardening stores like Calloways that use brown paper to protect the car.
