Hi, how are you all?
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question about squash-sinking.
Sad as it might sound, I really enjoy this particular fold and would like to practice it more.
What is the quickest way to set one up on the paper?
(I hope that question makes sense)
A lot of models I have seen use them much later in the model, I was just wondering how you could set one up right away so that I can practice them.

Take a square of paper. Fold it on the diagonal. Precrease a whole bunch of folds parallel to one of the short edges, (dividing into 16ths or 32nds is pretty simple). Then reverse-fold in and out along these creases. You now have 8 or 16 edges to try a triangular spread-sink on.

I dont know why I like them so much, I think it was the carnotaurus by Kamiya that made me like them. I thought that step was so cool
