i recently got a roll of kraft paper i got it to fold a fugu but what else should i fold

Well theres pretty much an endless number of things to fold...its so hard to recommend what to fold

I guess ill tell you what i've folded recently in each category:

Animal = Kamiya's Smilodon
Bug = Lang's butterfly or Leaf Bug (i forget author or where i folded it from, it could be Lang again)
Sea-creature = Lang's Lionfish or his Deep-sea angler
Mythical creature = Kamiya's Ancient Dragon
Dinosaur = Fumiaki Kawahata's ankylosaurus (my favorite ^_^)
inanimate object - interlocking heart rings by Jeremy Shafer? (i believe)
modular - Yoshimoto's cube

i dont really know any tesselations....

Maybe one of those models will catch your interest

Eileen Tan's crane makes a good start, it worked very well with my 92 gsm kraft paper.
Anyway, you could try Ryujin, some members in the forum have folded it using Kraft paper.

The reason I bought my kraft paper was for two specific models:
Kamiya's Ryuzin 2.1 and Lang's Black Forest Cuckoo Clock.

I have folded Ryuzin and the Cuckoo Clock from kraft paper too

It was one long roll... But I don't know where it is anymore! :/

The clock looks a little tricky, but if you are familiar with box-pleating it shouldn't be too bad.

Majority of the box-pleated models are suitable for Kraft paper.

I recently folded the cuckoo clock for the first time (time lapse on YouTube). I wouldn't say it's hard to fold, but it's obviously not a beginner's model.
One of the difficulties is working with a very long sheet of paper. If you've always folded with relatively small sheets the dimensions might need getting used to. The steps of the model seen by themselves however are absolutely of intermediate difficulty - definitely easier than most of his insects and such.
I folded the clock in 5 1/2 hours, which included puzzling over a step here or there, but no breaks. I'm by no means an expert folder, but have completed my share of moderately complex designs.

I used kraft paper, not sure about the weight. It's definitely not the thin sort. I recently bought super-thin kraft paper (27gsm), and don't think it'd be the best choice for the model, but "normal" kraft paper should do.
I started with a sheet that was 20cm wide and 2m long. It resulted in a clock that's 30cm high, 15cm wide, and 5cm deep.
