I successfully collapsed this crease pattern: http://langorigami.com/art/birds/barn_owl_2_cp.pdf
And, looking hard at its picture figured out how to shape the face and legs and wings, but i'm having trouble shaping the whole body to be round and not flat.
I will post a picture of my try, i made it from a 64x64cm baking paper,
I think i will have to use MC on it to make the claws and the whole things stay at their places, but i haven't used MC yet.
Anyone has made this owl before?

I folded this guy a while ago. Great model but hard to detail. I made the body "round" (square ) by stretching the middle flaps from the sides, like if you were inflating a bread paper bag...

Yes, it will be "squared". If i glued some foil onto it, it would stay like an owl, but it will be a big work again, unfold the whole thing and the making rolls of foils and glue it...
Does the other parts on your model stay like it has to be, like the beak and the face?

I folded it with a big square of japanese foil (ive arrived to the conclussion that thats the correct name), so the only part that was really hesitant to stay in place were the layers behind the legs and under the wings.

So, i unfolded the whole thing, then juggled: i wanted to glue foil on it, but it seemed the folds will disappear, so i took my hairdrier and dried the glue.
i recognized that the glued-dried part became stronger...
So after refolding the whole thing i adjusted almost each part with a "little bit glueing and drying" and i like the result i got. I put cottonball into the body, because it gives it the shape i wanted to have, so here is the result:


I will make better pictures, when my family comes home, they took the camera!

And what kind of paper is that you used for the barn owl?
Most of the details i did right, but mine wont stay like yours without holding...

Can someone help me on this, please?

I'm trying to collapse the CP, but I am having problems and just can't see how indicated Valleys can be folded as valleys not Mountains. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks man, I actually got so bored trying the CP, I completed John Montroll's crab in the meantime .
