Anyone seen it yet?

yes, it was shown at the german convention last june. if there's a possibility to see it, just try it out - there are a lot of interesting people with quite beautiful works of origami art to be seen.

It was also shown at OUSA back in June. I thought it was amazing, but that may have just been because I watched it in a room full of origami enthusiasts.

It's set to air in the U.S. on PBS on December 22 of this year.

It was shown at Folding Australia too. I really enjoyed it.
Great to put faces and voices to the famous names we're always hearing about.

Excellent origami film, great for Christmas gifts as well.

I saw it not too long ago. Didn't really like it, since it didn't show me anything I didn't already know. It's a nice documentary, but only if you have no idea what Origami is, imo.

Between The Folds is not meant to be a tutorial.
It's one of a very few entertaining , well- crafted films depicting Origami.
There aren't that many around, are there ?
It's great for illuminating friends & relatives to our addiction...
Much easier than trying to verbally explain it.

It has been screened on the Australian channel 'ABC' two months ago.

it is also on a learning application at my school (its called 'ClickView'), so i've seen it twice.

There is an interesting 4 part discussion of Vanessa Gould's film on YouTube, with participation of quite an elite group.

Has anyone seen the trailer for it? If you have, what is the program that is used to simulate the paper being folded into Robert Lang's elk?

The U.S. air date has been changed to December 8TH!

And for the record, 7 minutes and 7 seconds into the third video, some woman whom I do not recognize knocks a very nicely wet-folded Wilbur by Michael Lafosse off of a podium... and IS NOT HORRIFIED BY WHAT SHE HAS DONE. I would have cried. Clearly not someone who has sat there patiently holding a wet-folded leg into place while it dries...

Michael has been folding for about 40 years and he is gracious and fairly laid back.... I don't think he gets upset by much, but he is understandable careful about people handling some of his models.

I believe that most of his wet folded models are fairly solid and tough. His butterflies may be a bit more delicate.

Finally, a few seconds later, Michael remarks that Wilbur seems to fall frequently....

Yeah...I notice later when she tries to touch his butterfly he stops her...and I was like...."whew"
