Well, I guess he does it like every other folder who does miniatures, with his fingers and a tiny sheet of very thin paper.

I notice that those are dated a little more than 10 years ago. Tweezers are one thing, but even with a microscope, at some point... the fingers may be willing but the eyes just won't cooperate

If you can remember, in one document, Mr. Lang made flag of the USA and stars shaped with tweezers.

Tweezers make the paper rip sometimes, because you don't feel it. Long fingernails are helpful... and a toothpick, to push or flaten paper.
