I need a recommendation for paper in the size USA 24"x 24" - minimum -for a large scale dinosaur model. I live in Grand Junction Colorado. Maybe can find some kind of engineering-drafting supply store for a large sheet?
Of course it has to fold well and hold its shape.

You can search for things like paper they put on tables, they come into rolls and are in most case 120cm wide (about 47inch), they come in brown as well as white. They sell it from about 30 feet rolls till several 100 feet rolls.

it might help to know what model you are going to fold.

that said, the hardest anthology of dinosaur models that i know of is origami fantasy, and most of these can be wet-folded successfully. therefore you can use elephant hide or water color paper. unfortunately, water color paper seems to come in widths of 20" at most at the local arts & crafts stores. elephant hide can be purchased in widths of 25" from kimscrane or paperjade. you can also use tant for most of those models, but you will need to dry fold them and wet-finish. you can buy very large sheets of tant from origami-shop in colors that are quite vibrant with widths of 31.5".

you can, of course, also go with wrapping paper or kraft, which involves a lot of trial and error. with those widths, i would be concerned about the models collapsing under their own weight.
