Lokta and MC

Just curious if anyone folds with Lokta paper. I just treated a sheet with some methyl cellulose, and am a bit worried. So far all I've used MC on is tissues and such, and the Lokta didn't absorb and adhere to the glass like the tissues did. Just curious if anyone has some insight to what I can expect tomorrow.

I have used lokta with varied success-I have had the best results folding Kawasaki roses with the stuff. One thing to take note of is that lokta tends to be much thicker than tissue paper and will thus behave very differently when wet. It will take much more MC to effectively treat the paper, and you may even want to consider putting some MC down on the glass before you put the paper down. In the past, I have brushed MC only over the top of lokta and it has successfully adhered to the glass.

I've seen some lokta for sale that felt like it was coated in some sort of oil-based dye. If that's the case it would be difficult to use water-based MC on it, for obvious reasons.

I'm using lokta for several things; I've folded Nguyen's eagle (pic is in the "what I've been folding lately thread") and recently I was folding Roman's Hereford Steer with lokta painted white on one side with acrylic paint.
When I used it with MC it adhesived to the glass, but you need to use some more as Jonnycakes said.
Considering its variable thickness and that it is thicker than tissue it is not suitable for every (complex) model, as you can see on my eagle's picture (take a closer look at its feets). But it is very stiff and was perfect for the steer (if I get my camera back, I'll upload a picture). After painting it, it almost felt like leather.
