Came across this today when browsing Gizmodo. Takayuki Hori recently one 1st prize in the Mitsubishi Chemical Junior Designer Awards for this piece of artwork called Oritsunagumono (things folded and connected). Check it out!

I saw this today as well and thought it was a very unique and artistic idea! This would be a cool exhibit to see.
