hey this is my collection , so far , i have had alot of crappy books (that i give away), but these i cant , or wont live without.

any ideas on what i should get would be great. that i dont have , lol

The Passion Origami series (available at http://www.origami-shop.com) include a range of wonderful models with books by Quentin Trollip,Roman Diaz, Nicolas Terry and two author collectives (that is including the VOG book to be published).

I've got Jeremy Shafer's first book, "Origami to Astonish and Amuse" and that is worth owning just for the writing style as well as containing some very unusual topics for models.

As you are fond of John Montroll (and I personally think he is often undervalued), I would add "Origami Sculpture" to your collection.

And then of course, for theory as well as a range of models, the second edition of "Origami Design Secrets" by Robert J. Lang is about to come out.

I have more than 100 origami books and the most used book is Robert Lang's "origami insects and their kin". that book also looks used definately a must have book.

You've got some great ones there. My personal favourite is Jun Maekawa's "Genuine Origami" - a beautiful range of models with a distinctive style, intermediate to complex but for the most part foldable from any old paper, and interesting comments on each model.

get some tanteidan books they are great but kinda pricy im saving up for #17 at the moment but #16 is great with kamiyas turtle and of course the amazing skull.

My origami book library is pretty much to the point that I have all the books that I might want , except , of course , inevitable future publishings .
I especially enjoy all the books from origami-shop , origami house , BOS and Origami USA Sources .
One book not frequently mentioned is The Works of Seiji Nishikawa , a fine resource .
Finally , I would recommend the obvious . Buy any and all the Tanteidan Convention volumes that you can , while you can . They each go out of print quickly , and are nearly impossible to obtain, once extinct .
