This may have already been posted before, but i will post it again anyway, because I can't find another topic. What is the most complicated origami model? i don't want to be hearing any ryujin 3.5 or something because that ain't complicated, just time consuming as hell.
if there is diagrams or crease pattern for it, please provide a link to the crease pattern along with an image of the model.

Well, anyways, look for Brian chan and Robert Lang models, you may find something interesting.

Anything made using TreeMaker is a bitch to fold.
So basicaly anything that doesn't stick to a certain set of angles (45, 22.5, 30 etc.) is a pain.

i bet someone could make the same result with a lot simpler cp. lol i think its overcomplex but we could sacrifice some efficiency and get rid of all those weird angles

I think that the beetle looks harder than it actualy is, with all those small sinks and stuff.

And Slater is right, the transitional units can be substituted with the ryu yins or Mabonas hoopoe.

Yes, only 34 steps and still very difficult.

Once i get some extra time on me and finish all the models i have started but not bothered to get past the bases, i will attempt to make some of the ones posted on here... but i gotta finish ryujin 1.2, crab by robert lang, and ankylosaurus by ronald koh... but that beetle i am too freaking lazy to make. i can't even imagine how much paper i would waste making that. i can't seem to find any pictures of the falcon, could someone post it on here?
