My name is Carson Box. I live in Chesterfield, Missouri, and I am proud to say that I am a 13 year old folder. I've been folding since I was 8. My most recent piece is Guspath's Gunblade and I'm attempting to fold his Gryphon.
Happy Folding!

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

Im 17 too, but ive only been folding seriously for about 1.5 years (marked by me completing Esseltine's dragon). If you include my non-serious years, then its been 10.

I am 61. I don't remember how long I've been folding but in the last 5 years it has become a passion. I have folded so much that recently I got a sore inner elbow and my doctor has suggested I take a break. I guess I'm not in good enough shape for origami, ha ha.

Origami is a great way to relax. I am most satisfied when I get a fold after some struggle. Most of my favorites are from japan and I don't read japanese. Getting some unusual folds without the explanation can be challenging! Although, I was in Japan last June and bought Jun Maekawa's Genuine Origami before it was released recently in English. I found that the english didn't help that much with the folds. but his explanations of the fundamentals of his method was worth buying the book again. I've folded every model in this book and really recommend it.

I'm 11 and been folding seriously for about 1.5 years. I've folded stuff like ancient dragon, lang's bull moose, and right now I'm folding the ryuzin 8) . I've also designed a couple of things, like the beetle that will be my avatar as soon as I get around to taking a photo.
Yeah I know, I couldn't resist bragging.

P.S. Just because I'm eleven, please don't be patronising.

What's so bad about turning 26 soon?
You'll get a cake and maybe some presents, sounds like something you should like :D
And you are in good company, although I'm two months older ;)

I just noticed that I never participated in this thread... I'm 18 and have been folding since 5-6 years old I believe.

ha! good to know! :D
Not that bad really. Cake and present sounds lovely :P
I've set some things to do before I turn 30. Like buying my own house, make my own organic farm, travel to Europe & Africa, buy a land and plant lots of trees on it.

Haven't done any of those yet. Thinking about extending it to 40.
