Way to fight the power!
Seriously, though. I think that they should stop beating you up for doing origami. At least origami is productive, unlike getting high.

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

I'm 23. I started folding when I was 5. In kindergarten we made the origami heart as our 'Valentine's Day' baskets where everyone could pass out Valentines. In the second grade when I was 7 we read Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes' so we made a thousand cranes then I didn't want to fold anymore. I started folding again in the fourth grade when I was 9 making a water bomb, jumping frog, cup, envelop, box. Then stopped. Frequently I would pick it up for a day or two. I started back last Sunday when my friend came over and brought me a Kusudama she made, and she had bought me a book plus three packages of paper and since then I've made a cube with windows, one crane, swan, water bomb.
[My friend had lived in Japan for two years when she was in college, and she made about 30 Kusudama balls for my brother and sister in law's wedding.]
