I didn't like my old design because the head was way too big (even though I kind of wanted it to big, but I made it too big), the body looked weak and lacked bulk.

These aren't very good photos of the bull, and again the paper, though gorgeous, was too floppy, someday I'll refold it and take a better picture :)

Maybe you should treat the paper with MC to stiffen it before folding...It would be a shame not to fold from that paper.....is that the same stuff from WHSmiths?

Nah, it's Korean silk paper. I'm still in China, i'm going to try and get some MC when I get back. Have you got the stuff from WHSmith's?

I refolded my bull from some lower quality paper which is actually better for folding the bull. Not sure what it is.

I really like the face on that guy, Cephalopod!

In a previous post, you mentioned that an old bull design lacked bulk. This is definitely an improvement. However, I feel as if the legs and hooves kinda detract from the power of the model.

If you look at this picture: Image

and this: Image

There's a lot of power in those legs, and I feel that if you were to pull some paper lose at the very end to create hooves, such as in Mr. Trollip's horses (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3084/268 ... 9e.jpg?v=0), your bull could look a lot more fearsome. Also, if your back hooves faced forward, it could add to the realism also. Anyway, great fold :D

Yeah, I have three huge sheets of white, red and brown silk paper :)

Also found some other paper. I refolded my toad from it:

Look at it on my flickr :D

I will improve on the bull, Joe. You gave some very useful advice, thanks.

I will also improve on the neck, Hank Simon.

The points on the top are a bit confusing.. What are they? The toes are great, though.

They're supposed to give the impression of rough skin.

Looked kind of obvious to me, but then, I'm the creator

May post a version with smooth skin :)

Maybe you could make the waterbombs that aren't the head smaller so you ca tell the difference and make it look rougher?

I have drawn up a CP, but for some reason I'm too lazy to upload it but not too lazy to design and upload new models

Never fear, I will upload it one day.

In the meantime, I designed and folded a lizard from one uncut square:

Yeah, I'm sure you could hide it somewhere......or stretch the flap to give the head an upper and lower jaw.

:P it already has an upper and lower jaw. The flap over the tail could be hidden by closed-sinking it into the model if you really feel it is necessary. You could try experimenting and see which way looks better.
