The creation process that led to this dromedary was kind of unexpected:

The model is a modification of my horse base. The horse base itself is a modification of my donkey base. I created the donkey base originally while i was looking for a way to fold a dromedary.

Sooner or later every origami artist designs an elephant. Here is my first one. I designed it during the German Origami Convention 2010.
The idea was to make it as simple as possible. The model is quite easy to fold.

I folded these viking-helmets for a challenge on facebook. The big one is folded from a square of 1 x 1 meter craft paper.
The smaller one is made from regular 15 x 15 cm origami paper.

This is my third cat design with a completely different approach. I wanted to create a cat with few creases and a simplified look.

The model was wet-folded from a square of 24 x 24 cm aquarell paper.

Lately i was trying to design my own owl. The most important part for me was to bring out the eyes. I wasn't aiming for realism so this model too looks a bit more cartoonish.
Doesn't she look curious?
