Dear friends:
Some time ago I posted my own recipe for sandwich paper. I know some people has been folding with this paper, so, I invite you to show your models folded but just with this kind of paper.
I would like to remember you my recipe:: "tissue paper + aluminium + waxed paper or onionskin paper. All glued with spray adhesive. With this paper you will have a bright surface in one side and an opaque white surface in the other and you could use any side in convenience with the origami model, or both surfaces for changed-color models. Also, the paper is not much thick, but surely more resistant. It is easier to perform all folding process, even changing from valley to mountain fold."
"Regarding the wax paper I have found some other important uses. If you glue the wax paper to foil ( both sides), you have a perfect paper for studying the process of folding of new models you want to fold. When folding wax paper, the wax crack producing a thin, clear white line against the bright whitish surface, so, you could be extremely exact with the folding process. Unfolding will produce a beautiful cp with amazingly clear lines. Also, you can fold only using wax paper (I understand it is a little more difficult) and you could see against a light the distribution of the many layers of papers and you could correct any deviation. If you unfold you will have also a beautiful clean CP like a spider net. "
Some of the models has been shown under the subjet "what have you folded lately". Now I want to post this image here.
Best Regards,
