Hi guys, I've been here in the forum for a while now, and I thought it was about time to upload some work into a little gallery. I do hope you enjoy!
Koi
Designed by Michael Lafosse
Folded by me from one uncut square of watercolour paper. The red koi is folded by Lafosse himself - the red and black one is mine.

Tree Frog
Designed by Robert Lang
Folded by me from one uncut square of origamido paper.

This is my first post, so I'm only uploading these two photos. If it works I'll be adding many more! And as always you can see all my works (including experiments) on http://www.flickr.com/photos/alexsoukasart
Cheers!

All I'm saying is give the guy a break, he said it's his first photo post...
Anyway, the photos can be seen on his flickr site (like he said).

Thank you Quentin for sticking up for me in my absence.
I can't believe that of all the people on here, moderators would be making fun of someone because of their lack of knowledge with the internet. Just because I'm a super member doesn't mean I know everything about uploading digital images - all it means is that I've (hopefully) contributed good advice to some topics.
Instead of simply mocking me, would you mind helping me? I apologize for the terrible inconvenience.
Quentin, would you mind helping me? I can't figure out where my post went awry. I copy and pasted the URL in the post and all it came up with was the text. I appreciate your time and patience!

The way I upload photos from flickr:
click on "all sizes" above the photo on your flickr that you want to upload. A larger photo will come up, as well as options for other sizes. Choose "medium". When the medium sized photo comes up, scroll down to a single line (the URL). Right click and copy this URL.
Then come to this forum, click on the "img" button, paste the URL and click on the "img" button again.
This should work.
Any problems, just ask and someone will be able to help you.
Greetings
Quentin
PS, great work on your flick site!

Orihuto, don't be angry, I was just amazed since I thought that a long time member like you would probably know how to use the basic Forum functions. html-text doesn't work on this Forum, we use something that's called BBCode instead. If you aren't sure if something works like you want it to be, just use the "Preview"-button to see how the actual post will look like and if it still doesn't work after some trials feel free to ask. I think your question about how to post pictures from flickr has been answered by Quentin but if you should have any further questions I recommend reading this little Sticky-Topic from the "How To"-Section: viewtopic.php?t=721
I'm looking forward to see your first self posted pictures on this Forum
Edit: Just saw you already posted them while I wrote this

Thanks Anna
I'm unsure of how many divisions are in the Honeycomb tessellation. I roughly counted and I'm pretty sure it was 64ths. I sometimes do 128ths
Precreasing does take a while for some pieces. But because you are so often involved in doing it, you become rapidly quicker at it each time. It usually only takes me two hours or so (not including folding the actual thing).
Since I'm here I thought I might as well try and transfer my whole flickr page here ^^
Some recent and old stuff....
Dodecagon Spiral (Unattributed designer - basic geometry)
one uncut sheet

Flower Tower

Sunbowl
