Hi.
I wanted to fold roberts cuckoo clock.but I cannot find the right paper.so the result was bad.can you help me to find the right paper?or were you can buy it?????????????

He's created 2 cuckoo clocks, the Black Forest Cuckoo Clock in Origami Design Secrets and the cuckoo clock in Complete Origami.

I've folded the one in Complete Origami twice, the first time from a 1 ft by 7 ft sheet of paper, the second time by a 2ft by 14 ft sheet. I used a roll of wrapping paper and just shortened the width.

Both times, the paper was a little flimsy to hold its shape well, especially for the larger one - it worked out ok for the smaller one. I needed to use some glue to keep it from opening up for the larger one, though.

Foil paper like the one Nicolas Terry sells on rolls in his shop is recommendable for this model. I really recommend for a first try to begin with the 16x160cm recommended in the book. A larger paper will make things more complicated a smaller one too. Having folded it from 20x200cm, 10x100cm, 4.8x48cm I should know what I'm talking about 16x160cm is exactly the right size.

Anna, where can I get a giant novelty ruler like that?

Actually I don't like this ruler, it's pretty bad for cutting paper square. You should rather look out for a flat steel ruler (non-painted if possible). You should get those at hardware stores.
