War of the Chocobos!! which is better in your opinion?

I might have to point out that Satoshi's Chocobo looks little of what the game's chocobo looks like. It has the gist of it but not totally accurate. But black has the better feet and white has a better head

I'm not sure which FF you're playing, but it looks fine to me.

That picture has a really messed up art. I think that was a fan art maybe?

This one is the concept art from X, but it looks a lot like the concept art from the II which is where the chocobo made it's debut.

Ok. To be very truthful, I never knew what a
chocobo even was till a few days ago and I've been making these for months.

Lol. By the way, does anyone know what book has satoshi's ryu-jin in it? or what its called?

I prefer the white one over the black one, although the black one does have nicer feet.

@vamdan Ryuzin is not published, and will most likely never be diagrammed =P There is a crease pattern though for 2.1 on his site, and the CP for 3.1 i have seen on a flickr somewhere

That picture is the official cover of FFV in Japan.

The origami model is probably based on the 8- or 16-bit games.

Ooh ok. Now I see the resemblance. I kept looking at a realistic chocobo like the one Razzmatazz posted and then looking back at mine and telling myself "Is this right?"

Nah, I think it's more or so based off of the newer spin off chocobo rush games.


But then again these ones were not created when Satoshi supposedly made up his chocobo so I guess you are right.

I prefer the white one, but if you change the head style of the black, I would choose since the feet are better than the white's.
