Informal design duel: kirakinn vs. valerite vs. myself

Topics:
- Goldfish
- influential periods of history
- Complex models simplified
Rules:
- 1 rectangle (squares are also rectangles, naturally)
- no cuts, no glue (MC is allowed for shaping)
- only one entry allowed (if you do have multiple entries, pick one of them for the poll)
If anything is unclear or you want to change some of the rules, feel free to ask. Looking forward to this!

I will eliminate Influential Periods of History
I really love the other topics! Would be super-happy with either. Ideas already!

I'll narrow it down to goldfish! Good luck everyone!

Goldfish it is! Is three weeks from now (3 May) a reasonable deadline? Good luck to you too!

Also here for a last-minute entry.
I was looking for some weird goldfish types and this is what I found. I'm quite satisfied with the result and I'll probably share a CP soon.

I like your design! is a poll going up when kirakinn posts his model?

Posting the CP of mine. If you fold it, make sure your mountain and valleys are right or the head won't work!
Do you think this model is worthy of a computer diagram? They take upwards of 20 hours for a long model, so if it's not worth it I don't want to be wasting my time.

Because kirakinn hasn't posted an entry or a request about extending the deadline, let's give him/her a few more days. I'll try to fold your black moor goldfish today.

I just folded your black moor goldfish, and I really like it. I won't post a picture, because that might confuse some of the voters. I think it is worth diagramming, if you have time for it of course.

Thank you! I have an idea for a folding process, so as soon as I have the time it'll be a cinch.

Here's my cp. I'll probably make a diagram too.

To kirakinn,
The deadline was more than a week ago, it would be helpful if you'd say whether or not you're going to post an entry. I'm okay with extending the deadline if you need more time, but I'd like to know if you're backing out.

I'm so sorry. Some things came up, and I wasn't able to get the time to sit down and do some designing. Both of your entries are fantastic, and I'm so glad this contest produced such great entries from you. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to back out.
