Monthly Folding Challenge: February 2012

The topic for this month's challenge is musical instruments.

Rules:
1. Use one sheet of paper (any convex shape is fine), unless the instrument itself has multiple parts, e.g. a violin bow could be a separate sheet from the violin if you fold both.
2. No cutting or gluing.
3. You must design the model this month, older models will not be accepted.
4. You may enter as many models as you like, but only one will be judged.

The judge for this month's contest is 'topsu'.

Good luck!

Great idea for a topic. I am looking forward to this - both attempting a design and seeing what people come up with...

Will a multi-part instrument from one sheet of paper count as "extra credit" by any chance? My design is almost done, and I'll post it as soon as I finish the shaping. (Who needs two sheets of paper, anyway?)

Guitar.

Dunno if it counts because I entered it for ODT originally. It just fits in this. Might as well post it so that other people can beat it with their renditions of guitars.

EDIT: It's also made out of a square ;)

If I find time in between all of my auditions in the next few weeks, I'll try to make one of my instruments! I have no choice but to enter...
