Any big paper, elephant hide would do good for the animals.

red/white tissue foil for the santa is what i would say. double tissue would probably be good for most of them.

I don't think Fluffy's asking what paper he should necessarily use for the models, but what the original folders/designers used to fold them.
Here are pictures of the models that I could fnd the originals of:
Santa (Naoki Takeda)
Rabbit Head (Toyomura Takashi)
Caribou (Satoshi Kamiya)
Hare of Inaba (Morisue Kei)
Tiger Beetle (Kanazawa Takashi)
Horned Owl (Yada Naoyuki)
Could not find an image for the dwarf. And the Horned Owl may or may not be an original.

Tiger beetle could be gampi or kozo. Probably gampi, but I warn you, that stuff is more expensive than origamido, and more special to fold with too.

The Rabbit Head looks like plain tracing paper or bond paper.
Maybe tissue foil or unryu for the White Hare of Inaba and Santa.

The rabbit head I think could be some sort of ivory coloured parchment paper.
Santa could be double unryu shaped with mc(?)

Looks great! I liked the spider and the man on the lizard most of all. How many hours did it take to create the figurines?

Sorry, I didn't consider it. Did it take a long time to collect the figures?
