Being the noobie I am, found this at the dollar store today and immediatly snatched it up.
Get home, rip it open and well.. it turns out Tissue Wrap is different than Tissue paper, who knew? So this stuff seems like a thin plastic wrap, but i'm curious if I could maybe to a tissue/foil/tissuewrap sandwich paper? Or should it go in with the rest of leftover christmas supply box till later this year?
on a side note, snatched these up as well cause it's cheaper and bigger than real money

It certainly doesn't hurt to try! Its quite an interesting pattern, what would you want to fold with it?

No idea

It just looked cool. The mother in law requested a pretty butterfly, so I been toying with that idea, but i'm open to suggestion on model ideas. I'm going to go ahead and try a tissue/wrap and tissue/foil/wrap tonight and see how it goes
bnm70 - I've seen the book your referring to locally, but it wasn't high on my priority list yet, so many other books i'm wanting first but good to know it's a good book, I'll have to read up some reviews on it and see what models are diagrammed in it.

sorry no picture, wifey took the butterfly I made before I could snap a shot off, but fwiw, paper turned out decently enough. kinda thick feeling and plastic/slippery but held like foil just fine. Wound up folding a swallowtail design from Michael Lafosse. Eventually I'll get a picture in my gallery, or maybe something sooner when I figure out what this other square is going to turn into.
