Hi everyone!
I wanted to fold a somewhat complex model, like the Nguyen Eagle, or maybe the Pheonix, and went out to by a roll of foil or something. Unfortunately, the hardest part of folding anything was making the square

Does anyone have some tips on how to make a perfect square from a large roll of paper?

I always recommend a carpenter's 24 inch " L " square.
Get the highest quality possible ( contractor's L square) for accuracy .
Once one end is absolutely 90 degree accurate, it's very easy to fold over vertical edge to match top horizontal edge .
