: Egypt is literally origamist's nightmare, no tissue paper no mulberry paper, no lokta paper, no thai unri, No kite paper ,no crepe nothing but I did found kraft, but is there any helpful one's for super complex models , I am currently using butter paper but it is not very helpful.
I found someone in amazon sells 100 tissue papers 40 cm*60 wit 25 dollars and the shipping is 20 dollars. I could also use the left overs to make more papers.
Yes we have alumnium and glue of course but tissue paper? I don't think so.
I asked all over Cairo but I didn't find only toilet paper do you know any place I can find.
Is it possible that there is tissue paper in Cairo, but you can't find it because it has a very different name shehab hazem? For example, in Colombia, that type of paper is called "papel seda" which would mean in English "silk paper". No one in the US or UK would know what type of paper I'm referring to if I call it "silk paper", but the paper does exist in both countries. Likewise, "tissue paper" would mean "papel tejido" or "papel pañuelo" in Spanish. People in Colombia wouldn't know what type of paper I'm talking about if I called it like that instead of "papel seda".
Yes your right. Maybe I could ask in samir and Ali ( The most popular stationery store in egypt ) but can you you describe it's charstrestics. How many gm it is how strong it is it's texture it's strength it's stiffness is it compressable or uncompressable like you know these charstrestics.
