I did that as well, thats how i figured out that it didn't line up.

I already mentioned that...

As for the reference it is a bit out and it does NOT line up. But I still test folded the model using that reference and the error doesn't really make a difference. So if you want to try and find an exact reference go ahead but you can still fold it without too many difficulties using the reference you gave.

Base done and head figured out! turns out you don't need to make a split point. I'll explain once my camera's fixed.

Very nice! I think I was able to collapse the base, but I'm not sure because I have one fold where there isn't a crease line. Very interested in seeing your result.
