Simple Modular Unit Flowers?

Post by Joe the white »

Hi all, I did a search and didn't come up with anything really simple enough for my needs. My high school art teacher contacted me yesterday at work and wants me to come friday and teach his class to fold some flowers for the prom. My senior year I taught them a modified Kawasaki Cherry Blossom that worked well, but the other models in Origami Dream World are a tad too complex and its a little short notice to order that new book by Meenakshi Mukerji (Great job on that by the way if you read this. I'll probably order it anyway :).). Hes wanting some more variety from the last one if possible. Here is a picture of a ball made from Kawasaki's Cherry Blossoms (from the March 2001 JOAS meeting on the JOAS website)

So, in short, does anyone know of any online simple modular unit flowers? My knowledge of modular origami isn't too great as I'm more of a representational folder. Any help is greatly appreciated :).
