time passes by and i still don't have a pet alien...

i just get crazy on the diagram.

daydreamer!

ok steps 7-8.
they just don't work for me.
i used normal copy paper, workable size.
didn't want to use foil, too clay-like for a shiny result.

those steps are very simple to do but my fingers and my mind refuse to execute them, expecially after precreasing as in step 1.

i suppose the idea of shaping the legs like that goes against my idea of diagram, i find it a little absurd and somehow like free-form shaping, thing that i don't want to do cause the original looks so edgy.

i'm a lazy bad folder! :? :)

This step is an Elias stretch but unfortunately a little bit irritating drawn. Just ignore the little standing squares in the middle of the diagrams and follow page five of Gerwin's boxpleating guide 3 to see a detailed description on how to do this step. Do not follow this guide until the very end, but when you are on the innermost part just lay the legs flat next to each other (if you unfold now, you will see, that the small standing squares in the middle have formed themselves).
