With valentine's day coming up fast i thought i would share this with everyone. It's origami valentines old style. These folded valentines were popular during the victorian era in england and were painted and written with verses of poems that could only be read when the 'purse' was unfolded in a certain way. There is a picture of one unfolded purse dated 1816 here:

i got a laugh off the caption where it says, "A magical folding technique enables this to be folded into a secure packet -- once opened, it is difficult to reassemble."
